Kinesin-like protein KIF25; Minus-end microtubule-dependent motor protein (By similarity). Acts as a negative regulator of centrosome separation required to prevent premature centrosome separation during interphase . Required to maintain a centered nucleus to ensure that the spindle is stably oriented at the onset of mitosis . May also act as a negative regulator of amino acid starvation-induced autophagy . ; Belongs to the TRAFAC class myosin-kinesin ATPase superfamily. Kinesin family.

Each tissue–gene association is based on a text-mining score, which is proportional to 1) the absolute number of comentionings and 2) the ratio of observed to expected comentionings (i.e. the enrichment). These scores are normalized to z-scores by comparing them to a random background. This is represented by stars, each star corresponding to two standard deviations above the mean of the background distribution.
