Palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC19; Palmitoyltransferase that mediates palmitoylation of STAT3 and RRAS . Palmitoylation of STAT3 induces the homodimerization and transcriptional activation of STAT3, thereby, promoting inflammation and cancer . Palmitoylation of RRAS is linked to cell viability . May be involved in S-stearoylation of STAT3 (Probable).

These scores are normalized to z-scores by comparing them to a random background. This is represented by stars, each star corresponding to two standard deviations above the mean of the background distribution.
